Exhibition Halls of Palazzo Bisaccioni
From collections of sacred art to Renaissance masterpieces,
right through to multimedia museums: in Jesi, history and culture come to life in unique settings.
The Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Jesi, formerly the bank Cassa di Risparmio di Jesi established in 1844, is a foundation playing for many years an active role in the preservation and promotion of the cultural heritage of the territory operating in the historical Palazzo Bisaccioni in Piazza Colocci.
On the ground floor of the palace the main exhibition hall hosts exhibitions of painting, sculpture, photography and other expressive techniques, while the temporary exhibition hall hosts exhibitions personally presented by artists chosen by the Foundation.
On the first floor there are mainly ancient works of art while the second floor displays 20th century art, for the most part by artists from Jesi and Le Marche.
The Library with valuable publications financed by the Foundation, the Historical and Photographic Archive with the documentation produced by the Cassa di Risparmio and the Vault with the suggestive strong room and the collection of Italian lira coins and banknotes can also be visited inside the Palazzo.
