Giardini pubblici
With its tree-lined avenues, historic gardens and well-equipped green spaces, Jesi offers the perfect setting for
relaxation, walks and socialising amidst the town’s natural surroundings.
The Public Gardens, commonly called ‘i Giardini’ by the people of Jesi, are the town’s main gardens and extend on both sides of Viale Cavallotti, in front of the municipal stadium.
Dating back to the Fascist period, they mainly consist of evergreen species such as the stone pine and Aleppo pine and are distributed over two areas.
The lower one is reached by two flights of stairs leading to the fish pond square.
On the opposite side of the avenue is the pine forest, built more recently, at the entrance to which stands the Monument to the Fallen of All Wars, a work by the Jesi artist Giuseppe Campitelli, dating back to 1967.
In the park there is a bar, a large children’s play area and a skating rink.
