Festival Pergolesi Spontini
Tradition, music, and local flavours bring Jesi to life all year round: from the medieval Palio to the opera seasons at the Teatro Pergolesi, all the way through to the fairs and celebrations dedicated to Verdicchio.
Since 2001, the Fondazione Pergolesi Spontini has promoted and enhanced the music of the two great composers from the Marche region, Giovanni Battista Pergolesi and Gaspare Spontini, by organizing the Pergolesi Spontini Festival every year between July and September.
It is a traveling series of musical events — and more — set in places of great artisticand scenic charm such as theatres, churches, squares, villas, and gardens.
The Festival is designed to engage diverse audiences, combining tradition and innovation: from Baroque to classical, from jazz to the edges of pop, from events for families and children to multidisciplinary performances that blend musical, theatrical, and visual languages.
An event that every year transforms Jesi into a widespread stage of culture, art, and beauty.
