Colocci-Vespucci House Museum
From collections of sacred art to Renaissance masterpieces,
right through to multimedia museums: in Jesi, history and culture come to life in unique settings.
Palazzo Colocci, placed in the square of the same name, is the ancient noble residence of the marquises Colocci-Vespucci, built in the second half of the 16th century and now a house museum.
The charm of this museum is that it is less of a museum and more of a house.
Inside furniture, everyday objects, numerous paintings and family mementos decorating the various rooms offer a fascinating insight of the lifestyle of one of the oldest and most important families in the political and cultural history of Jesi over a period of time ranging from the 18th to the 20th century.
