<strong>Old Hospital<\/strong>, <strong>formerly Diocesan<\/strong> is one of the first hospitals in the region created with a modern concept.<\/p><p>It was founded at the behest of <strong>Monsignor Fonseca<\/strong>, Bishop of Jesi, to replace the <strong>hospital<\/strong> managed by the Confraternity of <strong>Santa Lucia in Piazza Federico II<\/strong>, which was no longer able to receive patients due to its reduced capacity.<\/p><p>It was built to the design of the architect <strong>Arcangelo Vici<\/strong> and inaugurated in <strong>1757<\/strong>.<\/p><p>It houses a <strong>18th-century apothecary<\/strong> whose <strong>vases<\/strong> (more than 200 pieces) are now on display at the Civic Art Gallery in Palazzo Pianetti.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section
