Founded in 1911, Bar Trieste is one of the first café of the town. It survived two world wars and has been run and continuously renovated by the same family for four generations. The café has its own identity as a Museo della Civiltà Contadina Marchigiana (Museum of Peasant Civilization of Marche). It counts about 3.000 pieces on display thanks to the passion the present owner has for rural history.
Among its specialities it offers a wide range of herbal teas, mulled wine with spices and fruit ice cream. The Italian food and wine magazine "Gambero Rosso" mentions its hand crafted ice cream among the five best in Italy.

Located in the heart of the historic centre, the Pasticceria Bardi was founded in 1927 by Ezio Bardi. Now run by the third generation, this bar/pastry shop offers a wide range of delicacies, both sweet and salted, as well as specialities typical of each period of the year. Among its specialities worth mentioning are the "Pan Soave" (sweet bread) dedicated to Frederick II, the sugared meringues, the sandwiches "all'impasto" and the delicious puff pastry cakes.
